Q. I've run out of mat counters! What do I do?
A. Though the examples in the first releases rule book use a mat counter for every space on the abilities track, you only really need two! Flip one counterface up, and the other face down. Use the face down counter to represent the maximum potentail your creature can obtain in a trait and the face up counter to represent the maximum actual value your creature has in that trait,

Q. What does Phylogenesis mean?
A. Phylogenesis means "Evolutionary Development".

Q. When do I use the other creature body part tiles?
A. You use the other creautre parts when your creature generates Legs/Arms/Tail/Head from the Attachment tiles or Changes Size. Remember that Arms and Legs come in pairs, so you'll need to dip into the extras pool to complete the set. When a creature changes size, you'll need to get extra parts to fill out your creature (See the table in the rulebook for the exact number).

Q. Don't you think I have created the cutest little critter you've ever seen?
A. No. Dave Overman has created the cutest critter I've ever seen, especially when I see her go into "Drama Queen" mode.

Q. How do I get a Head?
A. The Neck Tile creates a head. All Tiles which attach to a “Head” attach to the Neck tile (or Head tiles if the creature is Medium).

Q. I don’t understand the Slow Metabolism Tile! What the heck!
A. That’s because it’s a misprint. It should read as follows, “Less food required per creature Tiny: N/A Sm-Med: 1 less food Lg-Beh: 2 less food”.
